STAR-K Application Process

Application
Complete and submit your application to our office. You may apply online or download the application form directly from here.

Initial Consultation
The STAR-K will contact you to review your application, discuss specific details, and guide you through the next phases of the process.

Review of Data
We conduct a preliminary evaluation of your ingredient list and supplier sources to ensure they meet kosher compliance standards.

Fee Proposal
Following the ingredient review, STAR-K will provide a detailed estimate of the certification fees.

Facility Inspection
We will schedule an on-site inspection of your facility. This includes a thorough audit of all ingredients, plant equipment, and manufacturing processes.

Contract Generation
If your facility meets certification standards, STAR-K will submit a formal contract proposal outlining all agreed-upon terms for kosher certification.

Certification Issuance
Once the contract is signed, fees are paid, and all terms are satisfied, STAR-K will issue your official Letter of Certification, authorizing the use of the Star-K symbol on approved products.
